The Gospel According to Chris Moyles: The Story of A Man and His Mouth was the first autobiography written by Chris Moyles and was first published by Ebury Press on 5 October 2006.

The book was referred to only as 'Project B' on the radio show, due to the BBC's rules regarding self-promotion. The Gospel... was also released in an abridged audio CD version, read by the man himself.

Content

In the book, Moyles talks about his early life growing up in Leeds and how he was inspired to be on the radio. He then writes about his early years on hospital and in-store radio, before he made it to commercial local radio and then national radio success on BBC Radio 1.

Throughout the book, he talks about his favourite guests on the breakfast show and also gives a behind-the-scenes insight into life on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show and the team.

Like with many autobiographies, there are many pictures of Chris, including some embarrassing childhood pictures.

Reception

The book was well received generally by fans of Chris Moyles. However, the current average rating on Amazon is 3.1 stars out of five.
